Who Cares? September 14, 2006

The Dining Area
This is such a brilliant restaurant! I’ve been there three times now in the past month or so. It’s near the Motomachi exit of Ishikawacho station (just head left along the river/Shuto Expressway and you’ll find it). Owned by a fantastically friendly Nigerian guy called Sammy, it has a great atmosphere and a good menu. The Nigerian Tomato stew is particularly good, as is the roast turkey (for all you non-Japan residents you have no idea how difficult it is to find turkey, roasted or otherwise, in Japan!). And last night, me and my friend who is visiting from the UK enjoyed a nice decanter of sangria. Yum.

Oh, the restaurant is called “Who Cares?” – hence the post title!

I agree, a great restaurant! Will never forget the many margharitas consumed as the staff cleaned up around us (though I don’t remember much after that).

Seriously! What a wonderful place! Sammy is a fab host and the vibe is lovely. Shall we head back this weekend? At least they don’t sell absynthe.

I have never touched absynthe in my life.
